This week's TOP recipe: Lenda Sensitive
Digestive problems are extremely frequent in dogs, either due to digestive sensitivity, a food allergy or intolerance.Intolerances are only of digestive component, it is not able to digest that food, resulting in digestive symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea or gas.
Allergies are influenced by the immune system, which recognizes a food as harmful and reacts in an exaggerated manner, resulting in a systemic reaction to the allergen. While there may be digestive symptoms common to intolerance, such as diarrhea or vomiting, especially initially, it usually progresses to skin problems.
Whatever the cause, the solution is a specific and adapted diet.
Hypoallergenic diets, such as Lenda Sensitive, consist of avoiding or adapting (hydrolyzing) the most allergenic ingredients, which are usually certain protein sources and certain carbohydrates, especially cereals.
That is why this diet is Grain Free, substituting the grain for potato, and uses white fish (hake) as the main protein source, hypoallergenic, tasty and very easy to digest.
