Compensation for digestive disorders.

Digestive disorders are a very wide range of symptoms that occur due to dysphagia and regurgitation, nausea and abdominal pain, among many others, the most common being vomiting and diarrhea. There is a racial predisposition that determines the probability of the appearance of this type of symptoms and among the usual causes are the ingestion of foreign bodies, changes in diet, non-recommended and even prohibited foods, as well as viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi. The most common digestive diseases are gastritis, caused by irritation of the gastric mucosa, gastroenteritis caused by an infection of the digestive tract or colitis, any of these diseases can be acute or chronic

The nutritional management of this set of symptoms is based on a high digestibility of its ingredients, low antigenicity and ingredients or supplements that are precursors of the intestinal flora

Although in chronic gastritis, the most recommended is wet food, the proposed recipe is easily hydrated, with a moderate fiber content and highly digestible ingredients. In addition, this diet is suitable for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties of Omega-3 fatty acids and MSM supplemented in the recipe and the high digestibility of its ingredients. The same occurs with colitis. In all these cases, the use of probiotics plays a fundamental role in maintaining and improving the intestinal flora directly affected by these pathologies and is extremely necessary for restoring the patient's condition.

Reduction of intestinal absorption disorders.

These disorders have a high prevalence in clinic, with chronic diarrhea being the main symptom and can lead to the diagnosis of malabsorption syndromes. These are dangerous in that chronic diarrhea and vomiting present or may present weight loss accompanied by polyphagia,
hypoproteinemia, abdominal pain and dysbiosis of the intestinal flora.
The treatment of these disorders must be a dietary treatment in combination with a pharmacological treatment. A highly digestible diet, with highly digestible proteins, with fatty acids and prebiotics that promote the growth of Lactobacillus, so it is suggested that supplementation with probiotics only favors and improves the dog's microbiota.

Maintenance of dermal function in case of dermatosis and excessive hair loss.

We previously treated allergic dermatopathies of food origin, focusing the nutritional objective on limiting these with the nutritional ability to manage any type of dermatopathy.
Within the skin diseases, the main one is atopic dermatitis (DAC), this is conditioned by a genetic predisposition to present hypersensitivity to
environmental allergens such as dust mites, dust, mold ...
In atopic dogs it is possible to find dermatitis due to Malassezia or flea bites, that is, they exceed the nutritional treatment since it is essential to Treatment with antibiotics, topical and/or antiparasitic treatments along with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, but even in these cases, a diet rich in EFAs, especially eicosapentaenoic acid and linoleic acid, which are involved in anti-inflammatory activity by the formation of prostaglandins, is very useful in improving the symptoms of these pathologies. Finally, studies show that the use of probiotics, especially in early exposure, has beneficial effects on clinical and immunological effects, especially the use of Lactobacillus rhamnosus.
